It looks like Dimitri Gomez has struck again. Along with the 348, which I believe is the best looking square last made RTW in England, Gomez seems to have designed a great looking round toe last in the 351. Here are some pics of the new round toed 351 compared to their handmade version from Gomez' Bottier line.

While I, as many well know, am no fran of the more recent Gaziano designed EG lasts, I feel Gomez is truly a genius lastmaker. Perhaps it is taking a French gentleman to push forward the British shoemaking industry.

Much too narrow and pointy for me.

A bit too pointy and Corthay-like for me.

I am not sure if the Gomez MTO/bespoke model whose picture you post has quite as pointy a toe as that RTW model above it. I don't recall seeing any sample of his IRL with a toe quite as pointy. However, I'm certain it will sell well in RTW. Dimitri certainly has a good eye.

I prefer the 350, which Gomez designed last year.

+ 1. The 350 looks more balanced to my eye.

Looks like they wanted a last to compete toe-to-toe (HAHAHAHA

) with the more fashion-forward Lobbs. I like it.

337 still trumps it though

I'd go with Baron's 350 choice and also:

I wonder if this strange Weymouth I picked up from the factory shop is related to the 351, its certainly very pointy, more so in the flesh.
