Crew neck, cotton sweaters, that fit like Amer Apparel T's???

I love the fit of American Apparel T-shirts, and was wondering if someone offers 100% cotton crew neck sweaters with a similar or "slim" fit?

I bought a crew neck sweater off of LL bean, and although the fit is pretty good, something a little slimmer would be just perfect for me. Anyone have any recommendations?

Can you elaborate? Can the ordinary tailor on the street corner tailor my LL Bean sweater to fit a little more snug? Doesn't that require a lot of skill?-i don't wanna ruin my new sweaters...

If they're knit yes, but there are people who do that. As for an ordinary sweatshirt the same principles apply as if it were a suit shirt.
