I think it's is unfortunate that one slip-up would turn you against the products of an otherwise quality brand.

One of my rivet pop out this morning. Isn't a huge deal, but I know mauro/Chad gonna fix everyone issues. Don't let this problem scare anyone away, the denim fabric is so amazing, I can't describe it.

The factory did something wrong. This does not need to turn into a witch hunt. if you don't have problems with your jeans don't worry. The jean won't ( shouldn't ) fall apart regardless of the problems.
I spoke with Chad and we WILL fix it.

I was itching to pull the trigger on these so badly when they came out, up to the point when my size was sold out.

Sucks to be Mauro right now, but he's handling the situation very professionally. It goes to show that amazing fabric means **** without quality construction. May this be a lesson for future collaborations.

I don't mean to **** with all of you who purchased a pair, but it would be a tragedy if these needed to be recalled and the denim couldn't be salvaged.

These aren't jean destroying problems, loose stitches and weak rivets can be fixed. The holes having to be patched are more of an annoyance, but still not the end of the world.

yeah everyone needs to just chill. its all fine. mauro has said over and over hes got us taken care of. i assume Chad is busy or else he would apologize as well.

anyones issues will be dealt with. this is merely a hassle ... if anything, think of it as adding character to your limited one of a kind jeans in which only 108 were made!!! its a story to go along with them

If we can't selvage the mistakes the fabric is lost.
To say I am stressed and upset right now is an understatement. I am sick to my stomach.
I am sorry guys needless to say I will NEVER be using that factory again.
Best,
Mauro

I know another company that bought some fabric and the jean will be 150% well made.
They will be expensive.

I don't really care for the idea of sending the jeans back across the country so that you can fix the hidden rivet holes above the pockets. Does anyone have any easy DIY ideas on fixing these?

The best solution IMO would be the one I've seen Denim Doctors employee for mending tears. They use a synthetic solution that bonds with the denim (and is much more than durable) to plug holes. It dries white and then you can dye/paint it to match the denim. I don't know if you could do this at home.

Buy some of the heat adhesive denim patches from "Singer" and apply to the interior were the holes are. You can find them at most pharmacies and supermarkets. Just make sure the iron is as hot as possible because the patches won't affix otherwise.
