I'll just put this picture here while I get my lube and towel. :embar:

It seems their full brogue model is popular

Hi everyone!

My name is Thomas Kalflo and I work as a Craftman for Corthay. Let me know if you have any question about the fitting/colours/material/care/do-able models... anything.

Have a good day!

Thomas

PS: Some of your pictures were directly or indirectly taken from my FB account. Very surprised to see them here^^!

Of the high end French brands Corthay stacks up as a fairly robust offering. They aren't as durable as some English brands, but they should last at least a decade. Pierre Corthay likes to say that if cared for and worn every fortnight his shoes could last twenty years easily. I can't see any of the 4 models I have lasting more than fifteen years.

we need to see more use of this word.

Hi Thomas

I guess I can't PM you as you haven't put up enough posts? Apologies to everyone but I have some questions....

I am interested in a pair of Arcas in Vieux Bois, and potentially Wilfrids. I have questions about the fit. I fit into the following shoes...(I don't know if this will help) - EG 888 last 10E, G&G TG73 last 10F, St Crispins 105 last (I think) 91/2 F1/2. Do I get a 10 or an 11? Do Corthays come in half sizes?

Hoping to hear from you soon!

Thanks in advance.

Thinking of ordering a pair of Wilfrid in calf and suede. Has anyone received a recent quote from Corthay directly on Wilfrids? I received a quote of EUR 1100 (~ USD 1400) from the only shop that sells Corthay here in The Netherlands. That was with trees included.

Thanks!

I received a quote on MTO Arca's a couple of months ago and it was about $1550 with trees included. Wilfred, Bucy, Arca, Vendome are all around the same price.

Thank you!

They're probably similarly priced as you say, Texasmade, but has anyone received a quote on Wilfrid in calf and suede, perhaps?
