Doesn't get much better than this for the price. Use the codes that are mentioned in the thread below and you're looking at $250 for a really great suit.

They also seem to have Corneliani sport coats for under $200 (sizing is weird, unclear if it's Euro - if it's Euro, then a solid normal size range), and some Barbour sport coats in Harris Tweed - can't vouch for construction.

Yes that is correct, J. Not sure if the site is correct though.

What I am sure of is that for a buy from a place with a return policy, this is a smoking deal, wouldn't you agree? I wish they had my size.

Yeah, it's a great deal. Can anyone confirm or deny whether a 56 Euro is typically a 44 or 46 in inch-sizing? They say a 52 corresponds to a 41, and then a 54 to 42, 56 to 44, etc.

I think maybe when it gets to the higher sizes the difference becomes 12 or so. I recently sold a Corneliani Linea Sartoria in a size 58 and it measured to a pretty average 48. So, I think that going with a difference of 10 is still the better way to go.

Haven't gotten it yet. I'll have it on Christmas they said. I'm not holding out much hope that its canvassed though.

I imagine this is a full canvas Corneliani -- the Trend line isn't styled like this.

I didn'y buy it last night because I was trying to find out if it was a vented or non-vented model.

Ahhh, yes. Â The Giampaolo de Santi suit. Â Let's just say it won't be confused with Kiton. Â Or even Jones New York.

I actually got a catalog with my order, in which a better description of the suit was given. Â It said that it had "Old World details" like "three-quarter canvas chest piece and Neopolitan stacked buttons." Â Well what the hell does that mean? I'll tell you what it means -- fused lapels, fused body, and plastic buttons. Â It's amazing -- the picture makes it look like it could have a nice lapel roll over the top button. Far from it in real life -- probably the worst constructed/pressed suit I've ever seen. As for the fit? Â If you want a skirt on a suit, this is the one for you. Â It fit boxy in the shoulders and chest, had maybe 1.5" of waist supression, and then FLARED out at the hips. Â Utterly laughable. Â Needless to say I returned it. By the way, the inside tag said "Giampaolo de Santi Tailors." Â Who knows -- but it was made in Italy.

They always have these huge sizes. I mean, how many guys out there actually wear a 52 US suit, or 40 in pants? I mean, there are only so many offensice linemen, sumo wrestlers, and Shaq, out there. Isn't the typical guy who is into high end clothing usually between 38 and 42, and 44 or 46 at highest?

There are a lot of lineman out there who don't play football.

And there are a lot of fat people generally.

I would say that most people who are "into" high end are size 40 or thereabouts, with many exceptions of course. But most people that can "afford" and buy high end (but are not necessarily "into it&quot are overweight.
