No I realize that, and I know that I'm very lucky. However, being that as it may, just because I live there doesn't mean I'm one of the really rich people there, and that I shouldn't consider economical modes of transport.

Besides, leg room inside Chi town cabs are terrible. I don't understand why they can't be like the ones in Manhattan. I feel like having my legs amputed after 5 minutes in a chicago cab.

Chicago cabs vary greatly in comfort. You will have some good rides and some less than good ones. I find Flash to have some of the better cabs and drivers.
