I thought rolling starts were slower that standing starts? Forces the engine to start at low RPM on the low point of the power band, while standing starts let you start with the engine powered up and just force the excess energy to bleed out in slip and tire spin?

Cheaters. 0-60 actually means 0-60.
i guess that's why independent tests are so important.

I don’t think it’s cheats you can get the better than manufacture number on BMW if you launch well. On green light stop you can’t really do launch control so you just step on it

Yesterday as I was driving home I saw what looked like an older FJ Cruiser pull out a few cars ahead of me. After some stop and go traffic I get behind the FJ and realize it is one of the Icon FJ44s. I have to say it looked really good in this sand color with a black top pretty much the same as below. When I checked out what these things go for, in the $150K-$200K+ range, it reminded me that if I had to choose a sub-$200K car, hell even choosing a fun sub-$100K car would be tough....what would I buy?

Just like some McLarens (not sure if yours has it), this new Audi has lines that crossfeed from opposite-side shocks so they can control roll without an anti-roll bar.
I saw that...kind of weird for a big wagon, but i guess it’s all a feature of the trick height-and-everything-adjustable system. To get that in a McLaren, you have to buy a super-series (720, 675, 650)...the poverty-spec 570’s only have normal mechanical suspensions.
