Any reason you guys are looking at the 5-eyelet chukka instead of the 3? I love the color of the polo suede but the 3-eyelet chukka definitely looks better to me than the 5. I'm not necessarily opposed as it would be something different, but out of my current chukkas my Vass and AE have 3, and my Heschung has 2, so 5 looks a bit odd to me.

I am fine with 3-eyelet. It may be even better.

Just didnt want to stray too far from the original GMTO idea out of respect.

Good point. I think I'm leaning toward 3-eyelet polo suede on Dainite. That's pretty far from the original post, although it is more or less the same as the first pic he posted.

I actually prefer a 5 eyelets chukka since it is rather not common and that is for me the use of MTO. I already have a 3 pairs of Crockett and jones chukkas and they have 3 eyelets. For the color, I actually had something close to polo suede in mind rather than snuff, as the first picture can demonstrate. Regarding the sole, I am way more fan of a leather sole, I might consider tomir but really in last instance.

Regarding the double monk strap inca last:
- Cchen
- Shahamir
- Oneeightyseven
- LTDL
are already committed, we miss 2.

Come on guys, an unusual and elegant pair of monk strap!

I am good with either 3-eyelet or 5-eyelet. Polo suede is a must for me and tomir sole is highly preferably.

Polo Suede with Tomir sole in Soller Last
Worth considering that GMTO if we don't have enough interest from this thread.

Just wanted to mention I went with a Vass 3 eyelet chukka in "red brown" suede on Dainite, so count me out.
