I wouldn't even suggest blue for an odd pant. Midnight is something, at least from a tailored clothing standpoint, exclusive for formal wear. You cannot do anything with a blue trouser, unless you possess taste already and can pull it off.

Buy a pair of gray flannels from Paul Stuart on sale, or Polo. You'll have them forever, and not throw them out like that other **** you want to buy. But if you are thinking of buying Express, chances are PS or Polo pants would look like **** with whatever your shirts are like.

Ever hear of a sale? If you have a pair of lets say, Gucci @ Saks that are $450, and they don't sell and end up at an outlet for $250. They didn't lose any quality. Get it?

I have a few pairs of Santorelli trousers from Nordstrom as well. They've worked well so far, plus you can get them altered as part of the price of purchase. Nordstrom has them on sale at least twice a year.

Also echo the BB recommendations.

I have 2 pairs I love.

Agreed. Mabitex are phenomenal, I have 7 pairs, best value in NYC.
