You can try looking on ebay for used LV which tends to be of good quality and affordability as long as you don't end up with a fake. Hermes is quite (extremely?) overpriced. Otherwise Makr seems quite nice and uses Horween CXL leather for their wallets. You can also check out DeBruir (online only)

The manbag thread should have plenty of info regarding the holdall. I use a LV in tobago leather which is really nice and not as pricey as Hermes. You really should provide some sort of price range though as I assume most people would agree Hermes is the best in regards to quality.
