I'm looking for sweaters that are on the trim side. I'm thin, and I don't want any more of those really thick and loose sweaters; I get plenty of those from relatives. Any recommendations for trim sweaters that aren't hugely expensive?

I'm thin too. I've had good luck with my Zara sweaters. Their clothes seem to run thinner in general. Several stores in Manhattan. I'm selling several Dunhill sweaters on eBay right now (and will continue to do so through the end of the year), but they are mostly golf sweaters and run a little wider for performance purposes on the golf course. Very nice, but not for us thin guys. Try Zara.

    I second Zara as well.
It's trendy, okay quality and does the job (functionality and looks). If it gets old you can toss it and not feel guilty.

If you can find Helmut Lang sweaters on sale, I think those would be what you're looking for...

I've had really good luck with Pendleton's sweaters, at least the cotton ones.
