Discuss. Corollary: shirt bagginess (within reason) does not affect the fit of the coat, provided that the armholes aren't way too big and low.

There's literally nothing good about that look.

The vest isn't part of his ensemble...he was just trying that on momentarily at the event.

I'm talking solely about the fit of the shirt.

It doesn't look like it fits. Notice the excessive wrinkling up and down the arms. That's because the sleeves are too long for him. And the cuffs look like he could fit a second arm in there. I mean, there's relaxed comfort and then there's failing to buy the correct size. This is the latter. Although strangely enough the collar looks quite tight on him.

That's because it's almost certainly a bespoke shirt. Hence my point: buttondowns should fit like this, because they are meant to be casual and relaxed.

I generally agree, though I have some Geneva BDs that are just as trim as the other shirts they have made for me. With Oxford cloth, I like them to be quite full. With pinpoint and especially linen, they can be trimmer.

There is no recent weight gain, dipshit. If anything, hitting lots of golf balls is keeping my tummy tight.
