Hey guys. Just bought a pair of buttero sneakers. I never really looked at the sole. Is the sole supposed to be flat or slightly curved? Mine had shoe trees in them and I am afraid they misshaped the shoe.

Not sure, because I don't have a pair myself, but try them on. After walking in them a few minutes, you should be able to tell if something feels off.

Seen this in many Buttero and CP sneakers (they share the same sole).

Can't recall if any of the pairs I own are like the but I've never noticed it when wearing them.

I have two pairs of Butteros and they both looked like that. They're fine, just wear 'em! The leather is so thick I put some conditioner on mine before wearing. Also, if yours squeak a lot (like both of mine did) remove the insole, sprinkle a little foot powder in there, shake it around and put the insole back. Enjoy!

Many designers use that sole. My common projects aren't curved like that. Maybe the way Buttero puts together the shoe pulls on the sole with more strain in one direction than the other.
