Burberry Sheepskin Coat

Hi Everyone. New to this forum. Today I bought a vintage Burberry Sheepskin Coat and wondered if anyone could date it for me and any heritage? Any help identifying it would be much appreciated.

Have you checked the pockets for labels? Sometimes there's a tag in there that says when the garment was made.

Thanks for your reply. It only has 3 pockets, 2 outer and 1 inner and there are no other labels present.

Hm, OK. I'm not as familiar with Burberry as some other members on this board. You might want to try posting your question at the thrifting thread. Even if you didn't thrift this coat, the members there are very knowledgeable about labels and they may be able to help you.

Yeah, at $7600 I’d be hand delivering it on video and having them inspect it stating it is as described, haha. I almost did that for a rare pair of jeans I sold a few years back, and they went for less than half this price…
