I own both and like the Milano fit a lot more than the Clark. The Clark is a lot roomier through the leg with more breathing room when you sit down, however, I had some issues with the break being too billowy on the Clark that I had to have my tailor fix.

The Milano is very snug and European but makes for a very clean silhouette and fit me perfectly off the rack with no adjustments needed.

Not to revive this thread, but I wanted to offer some input for anyone considering the milano.

I found the rise of the milano advantage chino to be too low. (I have both the khaki and the british khaki)
They looked and felt great standing up/walking, but sitting down they would give me a wedgie and were incredibly uncomfortable. On the other hand, I have three of the vintage wash summery, milano pants in navy, orange, and red, and they feel fine sitting down.

Low-rise trousers flatter no one.
Women.

Sorry for the zombie thread resurrection, but I'm hoping someone can compare the Clark fit to the Madison. I gather Madison is a fuller cut, but I'd like to know if I need to size up to fit comfortably in the Clark. 6'1" 205 with the thighs of a running back/downhill skier. I wear a 35" waist in the Madison and the Polo Preston that I'm replacing (and a 34" waist generally).

I too wear 35 in both Polo Preston and Brooks Madison, the Clark fit I have are 35 have more room in the waist so much so I had to have them taken in. More room too for large quads etc.
Mine are 15 months old so ymmv.

Hope this helps, also the LL bean chinos have been a solid performer for me size 34 measured 35.
