bought these from the AE outlet during one of the 2 for $300 sales but they didn't fit, so i'm looking to pass along the deal to a fellow SF'er. they're seconds. they were $150, so i figure that amount plus paypal and shipping is about $175.

NEVER WORN, only tried on for about 15 seconds while sitting in a chair. realized they didn't fit, straight back into the box. oh did i mention they are

WALNUT STRANDS






only diff between these and the non-BB:
- have poron insole
- have combination sole (part of it is rubber)

for sizing, fit, etc, head to the AE thread. will not answer PM's regarding fit, as that info is readily available in the AE thread. sorry dudes, i'm busy.

price is firm. includes PP and shipping to CONUS via Fedex Ground. will not ship outside the US, sorry.

We're all busy. Explaining why they didn't fit you but would fit another person of the same size might be a useful data point.

the sizing issues i had with these are pretty particular to my situation:

basically, i ordered the wrong size. these are on the 5 last. before ordering these, the only experience i had with the 5 last was my neumoks, which fit great and are a 10D. didn't realize at the time that the neumok fits a lot looser/wider than other 5-last shoes due to the fact that a) they are unlined, and b) are made of a very thin, pliable leather. so, ordering the same size in these as my neumok size was a mistake. since ordering these a few months ago, i have found that i'm a 10.5D or 10E in the 5 last in shoes other than the neumok. so, the only data point i can offer is: "if you're a 10.5D or 10E, these 10D shoes are too small for you." doesn't seem like it'd be very helpful.

FWIW, dudes in the AE thread say that the poron insole on the BB strands makes them fit a bit more snugly than the AE version, but i can't really attest to that since these were definitely the wrong size for me from the get-go.
