Thank you!Nice shot! One of my favorite boots.
One of my favorite boots.
Very good combination of tweed and leather.
I don’t have nearly as much experience with different soles as other people in this thread, but I have use leather soles, lug soles, mini lugs, dr soles, etc. For comfort, nothing compares to the wedge soles on my red wing moc toes. I could basically wear those standing on concrete all day and my feet feel fine. Vibram Christy is the name brand version that is probably just a little different, but probably close enough. I haven’t actually used the Vibram brand so I can’t say. What is the most comfortable sole for boots?
This one is not an option because I don't like it visually. I want something that looks more traditional on a boot.I don’t have nearly as much experience with different soles as other people in this thread, but I have use leather soles, lug soles, mini lugs, dr soles, etc. For comfort, nothing compares to the wedge soles on my red wing moc toes. Ridgeway and double leather have been my favorites. This one is not an option because I don't like it visually. I want something that looks more traditional on a boot.

Wedges have no equal for comfort.
For grip, I opt for an outsole like Vibram Kletterleft. So wedge build up and then Kletterleft. Comfortable and able to grip. Best of both worlds.
