Well, unfortunately not much snow in Stockholm this year, but I just got these stocked and kept one. Absolutely thrilled with how they turned out. My first experience with merino wool lining and it feels like a pillow. (Carlos Santos 8865)

I can't say I know that, but I asked Ana Santos what they use and she said Merino wool

Funny story, about four years ago I commissioned an MTO through a popular store front in Sweden, for a pair of shearling lined Enzo Bonafe boots. The reply came back from EB that they had no idea what I was asking for...lol. Apparently, there is something lost in the translation. We eventually settled on Ram fur lined, when I got them they were indeed what we refer to in the States as shearling. Perhaps, that’s what’s happening here.

When I first got these C&J Derwent2 in waxy calf, I wasn’t sure if the 377 last was going to work. But after four wears they are extremely comfortable.

The patina on these is developing nicely, only 1 treatment with VSC since new. I'm bored at home, so posting pix.
