I have sold off most of my AE collection, and have moved on to other brands. But the shell trunk show always grabs my attention.

I also largely swore off used shell because I've had pairs crack on me.

But then my size twin Nick Papagiorgio reached out about these lightly worn shell Freeports. And for a great price. So I couldn't say no.

Perfect fit, and I'll take them for their maiden voyage during the next snow fall.

Nice! Except for the Tricker's biker boots - always been confused by that style personally.

It's an acquired taste but then I have 3 bikes, so I have a number of moto boots (real ones) so maybe I'm just used to the look.

I have the same feeling on Monkey Boots, just not my thing.

All a matter of taste of course. Completely agree with you on the monkey boots. Don't tell Crafty I said that though - I hear he quite likes them.

I have a pair of Bodileys Westminster Balmoral boots made by Cheaney. They are on the 11028 Last and have a very wide shaft. Does anyone have any advice (apart from just wearing thicker socks) about anything that can be done to reduce the circumference of the shaft?
