I get how a wool blazer, made in Italy, Loro Piana, etc., can cost a bundle, but a cotton blazer?? For $1600??? That is some mighty fancy designin'!

That's what I thought when I saw it in print, but it's on the site, too. And thenanyu is right, $166 is more like a J. Crew price.

+1 - BoO is made to a pretty high standard, this doesn't seem so out of line with a brand that combines superior craftsmanship with actual design sensibilities...

High-end shoes and blazers basically start in the four digits now, I agree with the others who stated there is nothing surprising about this.

Whether it's actually worth the price is a whole different question.
