1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

one more thing you might try is posting to Samuelsohn's Facebook page or sending them a tweet. You might get a faster response than email or even calling since companies are so focused on their social media reputation nowadays.

Thanks, that's a good idea, I hadn't thought of that.

I just thought I'd post this update... Thanks again to everyone for your suggestions, but I no longer have to worry about this. Unbeknownst to me, someone at O'Connors has been making phone calls, and the deal with Samuelsohn is suddenly and mysteriously back to the way it was a few weeks ago, about $1000 discount rather than $475, taken off by the factory.

I don't know what was said, or by whom, and I won't ask too many questions. But I just want to suggest that anyone in Calgary should go down to O'Connors and buy things from them, they're a really good place, with really decent people.

Oh, and be really, really careful when you pick a tailor in the first place...
