I find myself drawn to the look of Bill Nighy's suits. Or perhaps Bill Nighy IN suits. Not sure...What's going on with him and his suits?
I do have the same build/height as he does. If i were to go look for a suit in the style of the Nighy what should i look out for? Off the rack that it. I'm thinking cut/drape/silhouette/ + shirt & tie combo and that sort of thing. Not necessarily fabrics although if you know then be my guest.

Thx!

The recent one that has been all over social media, etc. is from The Anthology. Won't be off the rack, but, of course, it'll look the same as what you like about his suit.

BTW, if you haven't seen his (Bill Nighy) latest film, Living, you absolutely should - if you like quiet, elegant, graceful films. The styles in that movie are fascinating as well.

I don’t follow Bill Nighy so I don’t really know his usual style in suits, but what I notice about his Anthology suit is the structure in the shoulder. In the past decade or so the pendulum has swung strongly towards ‘natural’ shoulders. I think a slim build like his can look better with a more structured shoulder. Note that this does not necessarily mean a padded shoulder.

Yes. My build is very similar, and I recently had a MTM suit at SuSu and I had them build some structure into the shoulder. I'm happy with how it turned out.
