I like chukkas a lot. Especially Shell. AE Dundee's. In walnut, black, burgundy, cappuccino, and brown shell.

The profile is very close to the Alden Barrie lasted chukka which I have a pair in Ravello shown to the far right below compared to some AE Walnut shell. But I much prefer the 3 eyelet design of the Dundee. Especially considering the Barrie last is not the best fitting last for my foot and I get some heel slip. One of these days need to get around and sell the Alden's as they are redundant in color.

Not a fan and never have been of the unstructured desert boot and soon will order a MTO Dundee in snuff suede. I have the Katmai suede lined chukka, it is a bit rough for dressier occasions IMO. However it works well for more casual events like shooting sporting clays when a full boot is not required.
