Which country do you live in? I’m in Stockholm and my tailor is considered to be fair price!
Bor också i Sverige. Förvisso mindre stad än både Sthlm och GBG, men inte ens Annika hos Hans Allde i Sthlm tog de priserna sist jag gjorde skrädderiändringar hos dem/henne.

Some of the jackets I buy need +5cm alteration in the sleeve length. There's two ways of shortering the sleeve, either by the wrist or by the shoulder. The latter is quite expensive and I've had to do that a few times. What do you pay? I pay approx. €90 for that and if it's the normal alteration by the wrist, it's approx. €40

Precut holes suck for us that need sleeves shortened. I think my would charge like 700 SEK for shortening the arm from the shoulder. But that was impossible due to the pattern of the cloth. Normal alteration from the wrist is like 250 SEK or something like that. Bare in mind, this guys is a bespoke trouser maker so he knows what he is doing. Guess the rent in Stockholm just screws everyone over.

I love the Arthuro cut, got the green cotton one on sale couple of month also and have become some of my go to pair in terms of comfort and more slouchy look. I am considering their denim version but have heard mixed feelings about the quality of the denim itself. Construction wise I was not blown away but the fit is quite perfect as a loose straight pair.

Would anyone recommend the denim version, or actually have any other recommendation for a similar fit with a better denim fabric? (was looking into Full Count, but then so hard to judge from measurements you aren't sure of)

Thanks you for any advice!

I have two pairs of Arthuro denim.

My experience taking price out of the equation is that the model is great. The light wash is thick, heavy and sturdy. Very rigid and rugged. Meanwhile, the mid wash is slightly softer to the feel and not as sturdy. I prefer rugged and sturdy denim, so I'm not as satisfied with the soft iteration. Can't complain about the other one though. It's excellent overall not considering price.

Too bad ecru denim is not available now.
I would like to buy one when it is available again. I am W33 en Levi's (501, 511, 512,..). My size in Arthur and Arthuro would be 32 or 34?

their measurements are accurate so the best way to make sure is to measure jeans that fit you perfectly and compare.

I ordered the DB in high twist wool in taupe in 50 (I’m normally a 48) but my other jacket from B&B in 48 is slightly tight around my shoulders so I wanted to try 50. However, it was HUGE. Extremely oversized. So disappointed that I returned it. I measured the length which supposedly should be 78 cm but it was 83 cm.
Hm, I was just looking to order DB as it looks good online, then I saw the founder on whom it looks too big (a bit oversized and too long), and then I came here and saw the post above yours. It looks like something is off overall, and it's giving jogging attire vibes as it's all wrinkled.

I have three pairs of the arthuro denim (black, indigo and ecru), I find the black and the indigo feel very sturdy, whereas the ecru is a bit softer. Still fairly thick, just not as stiff. Very happy with them, nothing to complain about.
