I got a Nisse in recently, and I suppose this is all true, although I'd say it's only a tiny bit oversized on me at tts (and not really at all over a suit), and I definitely wouldn't size down. I tend to like my longer outerwear oversized though, so maybe I'm not the best gauge.
I have since worn it casually and also over a suit and the fit has grown on me a lot. I think you’re right and sizing down wouldn’t have worked the way I originally thoughts.
How is the sleeve length for you? The sleeve cuff for me reaches the knuckle of my thumb, so I’ve been considering just shortening them slightly..

Anyone with experience handling the merino shirt cardigan? Looks nice, curious about the fit and how large the collar is. No IG photos surprisingly.

Just comes down to the wrist on me. Looks like the lining comes down pretty close to the end of the sleeve... but maybe that's not an issue for a little shortening.

The shirt cardigan fits TTS and I really like the fit, glad it was picked up. Collar folds down nicely but also stands up well. Not too thick, medium weight. Will still need to wear a jacket on colder days. Works well transitioning to spring as well as summer to fall. I picked up the brown one here, https://bergbergstore.com/collections/knitwear/products/merino-shirt-cardigan-dark-brown

Seems a no on my end as well. Arbitrarily bumping prices by 20% is definitely not ideal, and hurts from the cost value perspective.
I LOVE my B&B sport coat, but, at a presumed cost of around $850-1000 before alterations, it just isn’t a sensible purchasing decision. I can get quality MTM and some respectable bespoke for not much more.

No VAT reduction for peeps outside EU?
Unfortunately no. I've asked a question about this but haven't gotten any reply yet from them. 3 weeks ago thinking of getting a sport coat but realised its just not worth the price anymore. Probably will be better off with MTM seeing $850~ for a sports coat but that's just me.

It’s a silly policy and is driving away their international customers like me.

Agreed. Last year I bought 8-9 ties as Xmas gifts for colleagues, when they deducted VAT. The vat now bars me from making purchases

anyone know why they've just changed the policy and not deduct VAT anymore? I didn't realise this until reading the posts here.

This happened, what 2-3 months ago? I emailed them and they explained they were having issues with their webstore software and were working on repairing it. At this stage, you have to wonder if it isn't just the new normal
