Hi,

I have a pair of white shorts but I need a belt for them, could anybody recommend a colour that would go with them and a light blue linen shirt. Or even better, post some links not to some belts that would work well.
Shoes I would wear with them would be some white vans, khaki or navy trainers.

Thanks

Try cognac. Also, keep an eye on the detail of the belt like its texture, its design (if it's braided or smooth), its material (leather, velvet, other), and the buckle detail (thin, thick, silver, finish brass finish). On the surface, it's just a belt, but you'll be surprised how various components complement one's attire.

I'd get either a classic brown belt, something like this, or a braided brown leather belt like this. Braided belts are a bit more casual and will probably go well with your look.

Even with shorts, I believe that you're always safest to match your belt with your footwear.

sounds like a pretty casual look. I'd also suggest that you consider a surcingle belt.

Try a colourful woven belt:

Little late to the party but maybe you are still looking for the right belt. It sounds like a casual outfit and I would definitely recommend a braided belt. With the colour combination of white and light blue I would suggest this blue braided suede belt or if you want to be even more casual this blue elastic wool belt. I would not introduce another colour to the outfit and I am not the biggest fan of white belts (unless for a Golf outfit ;)). Just my opinion though. Hope that helps!
