Barbour Beadle quality question

Hello,

I'm hoping that someone with more experience can help me with a quality issue. This may seem like a bit of a non-issue for most, but I am curious. Criticism is welcome, of course.

I purchased a Bedale in two sizes to compare the fit and have noticed a difference in quality, or at least what I consider to be quality; my idea of quality may be your idea of one being picky.

C32 - The stitching on the collar appears to be a different colour and somewhat questionable in comparison to the C34

C32 - The tartan appears to be much less pronounced in comparison to the more vivid colour of tartan on the C34.

I'll attach some photos.

I'd appreciate any feedback regarding this.

This may be somewhat rhetorical, but did you buy both from the same vendor ?

The differences are quite stark nonetheless, and while Barbournis churning out an insane amount of these jackets nowadays, having differently colored tartan linings shouldn’t happen - even in batch production

Which is probably the explanation as to why they differ, they were either made in different factories or at different points in time

Have you emailed Barbour customer service ? They are quite forthcoming

I ordered them together and from the same vendor, yes. I have reached out to Barbour who will pass the photos on and get back to me with an update.
