Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, but according to the Allen Edmonds CEO, Paul Grangaard, AE is working on a bal boot for next fall's collection.

As the snow has come down, I thought I'd post pics of my MTO Culford.

I reckon I'll gradually darken them up with dark brown wax polish.

Nice -

Really, IMO, C&J have the most 'hits' consisently of any of the true UK manufacturers.

Top notch stuff, through and through. Whoever their line-builder is, is really good.

^ "Culford," is that not Alfred Sargent? I like the side panels -- is that the custom part?

Requested change to side panels, colour (burgundy) and eyelets (stouter type). The design change is down to AS. I was after something similar to the "Kelso" boot, but AS came up with this. A much better design. There's a touch of Edward Green there (e.g. Galway boot), I think.
