Gonna be backpacking in Europe in for the month of July. I'm not doing any hiking btw. Mostly just walking around the cities, and hitting up the local nightlife.

Was thinking of getting some Jack Purcells for my walks around the cities.

Undecided between... white or black? Leather or canvas?

black canvas. but that's me considering what else i generally wear, which would be a lot of stuff that goes well with black kicks.

I think my mom bought me a pair of those shoes when I was 8 or so.

Whatever you wear, you will come off as a typical American tourist, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

While you might not get into some clubs wearing either of those, the black ones definitely have the most potential.

Why not something like the Alden All Weather Walker? A much better choice than sneakers.

I'm bringing another pair of dressier shoes.

The JPs are just for walking around, not for the clubs.
