as a side note, does anyone have any success stories of completely replacing their iron with a steamer? the downside I'd anticipate from steamers is not being able to starch collars (or cuffs)

Hey guys, this will be my first post so i thought ill introduce myself as part of the australian community.
Im a 26 years old, melbourne based, photographer and video producer.

I actually bit the bullet last November to get myself a bespoke suit made, and after a couple of months of research chose Charles Maimone as my tailor of choice thanks to the information in part provided here.

Ive gone for my first fitting and awaiting my second fitting which is scheduled sometime next month. Im actually surprised that for such a respected tailor there wasnt more information or photos provided of his work so once the suit is made ill be sure to post mine and my review of it all.

In case anyones wondering, the cloth is from holland and sherry, and i chose to get a double breasted, dark navy with pinstripes. I opted for the "kingsman" look for my first bespoke suit and ive been buying accessories left right and center to have every last detail accounted for - Sporting a tissot CHEMIN DES TOURELLES AUTOMATIC GENT watch, pair of loake churchills, swarovski cufflinks, and the shirt i had made using Mtailor app which im quite happy with, tie and tie clip from TM lewin.

Below was a photo i took during my first fitting. Lighting inside isnt the greatest so the colour doesnt come up but im excited as hell to get it.
