Wanted to seek the learned input from those here in the know....

Anyone know of tailors or labels doing these type of pockets on high end trousers, cotton or wool.  Searched Incotex thinking they would but no luck there.  Several other labels not doing them either.  The only ones I could find who seem to be tailoring these types of pockets are Kiton which is way out of my range.

Any suggestions welcomed as Im looking for a point of difference.  Sick of all my usual tailored trousers.

So kind of just realised the importance of tailors and decided i'd make my first visit, however I have one question. I'm a student and really don't have that much money to spend on tailoring, but still I would like to visit a tailor who will not ruin my clothes. So for my first visit I decided to try M & R Tailors in Sydney and brought in a tweed coat I got at christmas which has since become to big for me. I was charged 80 for bringing the coat in around my chest and 40 for shortening the sleeves at my hands not my shoulders. So what i'm wondering, is this a good cheap price for a tailor in Sydney who won't ruin my clothes. I came here to ask because know one that I know really goes to tailors and I really don't know many decent tailors to compare with.

M&R Tailor always does a good job with my alterations and I recommend it. Asking for a good and cheap tailor is a bit conflicting. Just a heads up...

True. However, I think that whether you're having a chat with someone, or you're conducting a strict interview, and I tend to prefer the former, directing the conversation is an art. It helps to create a sense of conviviality about the exchange; it makes for more engaging viewing. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this - but I do feel it could have conducted in a manner that felt less contrived.

Gerry, I don't know if I like your new photos with your new camera. I think I like the pink lens on the old one more!

^^^^ Yes, I know what you mean and I agree. A little more thought would have been good but it is what it is. The intent was there though and if Patrick was up for one 'interview', I'm sure another one could be arranged. You ought to consider it, you know, the next time you're over in Sydney.

Alternatively, you could do a similar session with Tom Riley in Melbourne. You know what you're doing and you know what topics menswear enthusiasts would like to hear about - you're well placed for this.

I miss the old camera as well - the whole 'viewing the world through rose-tinted glasses' vibe is gone
