I am brewing up something special for the next Vass group buy. A completely new leather for Vass. Sample shoes/boots in a month or 2 hopefully.

With regards to Dainite, I recall one of the Hong Kong members having a source who could obtain them easily. This was some years back though.

Try the one in the Strand arcade, their name escapes me now. Perhaps call them first. Alternatively you could source it yourself and hand it to the cobbler.
Thanks, might give that a try. Couldn't find anywhere on the net that sells danite soles or anything close to it.

Used the Glenkaren cleaner conditioner today. A bit more work than using Renovateur, but with perseverance and lots of brushing, the results are pleasing. Plus my shoe cabinet now smells of oranges. Thanks to Sartorial Scum for organising the buy.

Definitely a bit more work. Nice knowing that its all nice and natural products going into my shoes and they do smell great. Thanks for joining in!

For those who are vision impaired, how many pairs of glasses do you generally run?

I'd like to own every ray-ban ever, but as medicare/private health insurance only covers so much, my choice is limited

Same as Wurger, but also alternating with contacts on weekends or doing sport/beach. Might save up for lasik tho, getting annoyed with losing contacts in the water... (goggles are annoying and less fashionable)

the thing is, any difference in the prescription of the lenses will cause dizziness and uncomfort in ones' eyes and head, takes a few hours for our eyes to get used to another new pair. Even when I change to my sunnies with the same prescription, it still makes a bit of time for my eyes to adjust to.

Went to brooks brothers today and picked up an Italian merino wool longsleeve navy polo for 97 dollars if anyone is in need of one! Great for winter. This was at David jones Melbourne.
