1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Can't remember the name, but it's Italian. Shop is on Pitt St between Liverpool and Bathurst, east side.

I shave with my black Amex. When it gets blunt, I send Smedley 'round to pick up a replacement with a higher limit.

My christmas shopping has been a little disappointing:

    • I bought my dad a pair of AO General Aviators. They're chunkier than the Ray-Bans with a narrower nosepiece.
    • I bought mum a pair of Wayfarer copies from sunglasswarehouse.com. They only just arrived today, and by the looks of it may be too big.
    • I bought my brother a pair of chinos from ASOS. Due to minimal stock I had to get a 34 length and I'm nervous about the waist size.

I guess my experience illustrates the pitfalls of internet shopping.

Internet shopping for someone else, and an accessory that covers a big part of your face, is no easy task. Sunglasses would have to be one of the most 'individual' pieces of clothing someone could wear. You just can't be sure until you put them on. In my opinion.

Agreed. Problem is the lack of options in Australia.

Here, anything below Sunglasses Hut prices is usually outdated and gaudy. In the US retailers like Walmart and Target sell sunglasses very close to classic designs (Aviators, Wayfarers, Clubmasters etc).

Next to the RM Williams I believe.

So Xmas sartorial kops anyone? Socks (again) Penhaligons Blenhiem Bouquet.

Musically The Sports Don't Throw Stones reissue was a pleasant surprise. And starting on the second bottle of Bass Phillip Crown Prince Pinot Noir. As John Paul Jones said " I have not yet begun to drink"
