1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Spoiled myself at the HBs sale today with a Breuer grey Loro Liana Storm System/goose down Gilet today. But goddamn if it isn't the nicest Gilet I have ever seen by a country mile. I saw it at their outlet sometime ago and it's stuck in my mind since. Recommended if anyone pops in to the sale.

Pretty happy with my Boxing Day buys.

3 BB striped BDs at 50% ($55 each) - they fit perfectly in the slimmer cut. I think I'm set for BDs this year.
    Uniqlo socks.

Need a new pair of specs and will be asking my friendly optom today...

Scored some Jeans at Levi's, super faded dad wash. Need to get them tapered though as the fit sucks. Got them for $70, could have probably got them for cheaper online, but it was the exact colour I was after, and they have so many different variations of their faded jeans it's hard to see if you're buying the right one.

I've got a pair of Acne jeans in a similar wash that get a surprising amount of wear during summer!

    In other post Festivus news:

I can report from extensive observations at social functions, strolling through CBD and supermarket fieldwork that if you are over 35, conservative middle class guy with a pear shape - then DON'T wear those current short jackets /sport coats that show your bum, especially if they are tight fitting and you wear them with tight low rise trousers that are tapered below 8". You look like a lumpy pear sitting on top of a lumpy carrot and it just looks silly. I mean really silly. Despite what your mother/wife/gf/fiancée says they DO NOT make you look "youthful and with it."

If you happen to be a gay guy of similar build and background - wearing it a tad tighter does NOT make you look better than that straight guy wearing it. In fact possibly worse.

Do you wash all your clothes that you buy before you wear them for the first time, or just jeans?
