Another SF member has the exact same shoe. Just look back several pages. You can PM him for feedback.

Meermin is great value for money. But there are quality control issues as stated by joiji. Just check out the Meermin thread.

IMO, even with quality control issues, they are still value for money. AUD$250 will get you a Herring brogue (made by Loake) which has inferior leather, or a blobby Allen Edmonds on sale at 40% off currently at Lands End, or a Septieme Largeur (made in Portugal), or Ed Et Al made in Vietnam. That's without shoe trees except for Herring.

He means if they dont come with any issues that should have been pcicked up by Meermin before leaving. Some of the classic models have arrived with scuffs, splitting soles etc.

Here are a couple of photos of today's outfit - Deer Style shirt, printed silk tie by gshen (now Vanda), Brioni jacket in navy with subtle light brown and dark brown windowpane checks, Deer Style trousers, Ferragamo Tramezza chukka boots, and "Whitehall" top-frame briefcase by Swaine Adeney Brigg.

Looks good, especially the briefcase, not sure about the Swedish socks though...

BTW, our trip to Japan just got cancelled!! I was so looking forward to checking out shoes by Scotch Grain and Koji Suzuki's Spigolas...
