yes, another wedding question

I want to wear something classic, but perhaps do some tiny twists to make my clothing a bit more memorable. I am thinking about getting a MTM midnight blue tux. if I do this, will if look odd if my groomsman and FOB are wearing (their own) black tuxes?

I think I may buy everyone bow ties and pocket squares

I don't think it would look bad if the groomsmen were wearing just black suits, but tuxes, with you in a midnight blue suit? I think that would look off. Why do you want the groomsmen to look better than you?

I would be wearing a midnight blue tuxedo

ie the guy on the left, vs the black on the right

As long as yours is a good midnight blue, no.

I think it might look weird in the photos.

And probably only in photos; even here, photos with decent to good lighting.

Most people will just see nothing but black "suits."

That sounds like a great idea. Letting all the men wear their own dinner jackets is the best way to handle things.
