I soaked for 45 minutes in hot water.. I feel as if they didn't really shrink at all. Ima bust out the tape measure (I didn't measure pre soak) and see what they are looking like.

They still feel hard as a rock and dried in an obscenely quick amount of time.. so I am not sure whats up.

I feel like I may just start wearing em.

edit: kinda weird that I measure jeans in inches (as well as ande) when i associate all measurements in relationship to cm.

Why do you expect much shrinkage when they are sanforized already? You should have just worn them straight away.

You're probably right. I might have wrecked my jeans.

Guys is it gonna be okay?

Dude, they are pants. Who cares.

I dunno how many pairs of sanforized denims you've gone through, I don't wanna be patronizing because I know it's just personal preference.

But I know that I wish I soaked my sanforized grifters. They shrunk maybe an inch in the inseam and my combs moved around a fair bit. It's not a big deal, but I'm gonna soak my next pair of sanforized jeans just out of preference.

Not that I can remember (in the past year+.) The only sales Ande has are on returns.

I'm having some angst about whether to keep my black grifters or not.

I actually don't mind the leg fit, and the waist is fine, but there's something awkward about the top in general, in terms of how it feels for me personally. I suspect it's that I'd really prefer an inch or so more rise. I always feel like I need to pull my shirts down in the back, or readjust my underwear or whatever, and in combination with that it's very tight in that whole area so it doesn' t move around comfortably, which apparently kind of bugs me in a way that tightness in the thighs on downward doesn't.

They look pretty much new, and you can't buy them anymore, so I suspect I could sell them for some reasonable amount, but I like a lot of things about them, and I don't have any great ideas of what to replace them with. So I'm a little at sea. Alas.

i know what you mean. I have 2 pairs of grifters, first pair i didn't mind so much, the pair i have now, i'm a lot more self conscious about the rise. doesn't mean i don't wear em, just next year, buy a pair of slackers instead.

I just bought a pair of grifters 30x32, ><
I'm kind of worried that the cut might not look great on me, I got sort of a larger than I'd like booty.

You should email Ande about this. Don't waste your time and money getting the wrong model or the wrong size. I speak from experience. It costs $30 to send them back to Ande. Plus it costs him money to ship you a new pair. If we can help keep Ande's costs down maybe he can keep the prices down some.

Definitely switch to some slackers. Your nuts will thank you.
