Alterations to Leather Jacket

I acquired a fabulous, very expensive leather jacket that is about a half size too big and the sleeves are about an inch too long.

Is it possible to alter such a garment?

Returning it is not an option and I would really like to keep it if I can. I got such an amazing deal on it I really don't mind spending a few hundred dollars for the alterations if they can be done.

Am I SOL?

Post a pic of the jacket. Does it have working sleeve cuffs? Need to see the seam lines to reply.

they should be able to remove the zipper, replace it with a shorter length zipper and then take the cuff off and move it back

FWIW I own the exact same jacket and am in the same position. A standard alterations specialist is adjusting the sleeves for me. He told me it was very difficult to take in due to the vents etc at the side and that I'd need to take it to a leather specialist for that particular alteration as his machines were not suitable.

He is shortening the zip on the cuffs for me and rejoining the cuff to the shortened sleeve.
