Hello SF,

I recently acquired a new jacket, I was hoping to get advice on what I should have done by a tailor, I believe the sleeves are just a touch too long unfortunately, but I'll leave the judgments to the pros. Also, if anyone knows of a good tailor in the Orlando area I'd be much obliged, would rather not take this to to be altered by a relative unknown. Thanks. Jacket size is a 38R.

They are too long. Take it to Hung's Tailors on Mills just off 50 and 17-92

Sleeves are definitely too long. But any tailor will fix it.
Anyway, where did you get this jacket ? It is really cool

^are you a cast member in a play?

Do you juggle balls in a circus?

What occasion/circumstance do YOU see yourself wearing such a jacket?

I understand that it's flashier than the usual garment seen here, but it's certainly suitable for some less formal occassions. Also to answer your questions, no and sometimes.

I think it looks cool.

Taste is largely subjective: no matter how much anyone on this board (including myself) may attempt to objectivize the constituent elements of style/fashion, sartorial success largely boils down to confidence. If you think you can pull it off, and I think you can (further, I'm almost certain you think you can, as you don't just pick up a jacket like if you're not confident), you needn't worry.

All this being said, I continue to enthusiastically endorse the practice of aesthetic objectivism. So, yes, the sleeves are too long.

I think my style is on the other end of the spectrum from the OP - but I don't think this is breaking any sartorial sins

In addition to the sleeves, it looks like you could get the waist taken in a bit too.
