I just received all the shell samples in my store, our Trunk Show Event is tomorrow! I tried on the Navy Fifth Street since its close to my size (I'm normally 9E). I think I might have to buy it. This would be my first Shell Cordovan pair. I think it's only fitting considering I'm AE_Lauren, right?

Would love to see photos of the samples in natural sunlight! More photos, the better!

Also, first shell cordovan pair from a Shelltember TS would be absolutely fitting for AE_Lauren! As others have mentioned, getting your username on the spreadsheet

Wearing First Avenues today in honor of trunk shows past. Much as I love me some green shell boots, I have come to the realization that while these are great with linen and khaki, their sleek profile and cap toes are just a little too dressy for denim. What could the solution be, I wonder...?

This kind of brings up a sore spot for me too. I have a pair of olive Cheaney boots that I have only worn once since I bought them. They are also too dressy for denim. But living out here in the desert, I kind of have doubts they will see much wear. I don't want to sell them, but I have to be practical to some degree. I've kind of realized that the only boots I seem to wear are casual types (Higgins, Alden plain toes, etc.).

This kind of brings up a sore spot for me too. I have a pair of olive Cheaney boots that I have only worn once since I bought them. They are also too dressy for denim. But living out here in the desert, I kind of have doubts they will see much wear. I don't want to sell them, but I have to be practical to some degree. I've kind of realized that the only boots I seem to wear are casual types (Higgins, Alden plain toes, etc.).

It isn't really a sore spot, I get enough wears pairing these with linen and khaki. But your mention of more casual options strikes a chord...

I wear Park Aves and jeans. The catalogue says I'm fine.
