I’ve been considering these...my closet is 95% AE. They look great!

The blue ones are GMTO, but they have the bourbon ones year round. Highly recommend them.

When you change pattern, colors like Mahogany change slightly also. My Fifths look just like the top but I can believe that the Strand is darker gray.

Just noticed the Kitsap on clearance - a model I've never heard of. Interesting in light of recent discussion on the scarcity of AE derbies. Anyone got any 411 on it? Description sez it's on the 222 last which if true is a no-go for me. And yet, it also sez "classic fit" and the silhouette looks nothing like the 222... not that I need a pair... More than likely the last info is outdated, just how how they incorrectly state the University is still made on the 333. They likely moved it from the 222 to the 108, since that is the most similar last. The 108 (to me) is much wider than the 222.

Edited: after looking at the current Kitsap, I'm not convinced it's the 108. Maybe the 201?

Interesting. If you search mahogany on the website there’s quite a bit of variation between all the styles listed.

Suprised nobody has said the Dalton is in the women’s league. My preference is the Hamilton.

I've been remiss in posting my Allen Edmonds recently.

Wore my Alpines today for the very first time. I was a bit disappointed that in the midst of a fairly light storm, that I noticed the leather had some obvious water marks on it despite this being waterproof leather. Nevertheless, my feet were themselves quite dry.



Now for my shell cordovan Daltons that I wore to work on Friday.
