First time out in 2019 for these almost NOS black insole macneils I picked up about a year ago now. Trying to rotate the collection a little more evenly of late.

Pebble grain. It's a full grain leather.
Some examples of past Webgems (notice how some became regular offerings):

Went fairly casual today. There’s a huge range here from suits all the way down to shorts/sandals. A few Strands spotted, but as usual the shoe scene is grim.

Nothing better than shell shoe pics, other than shell+dog pics! Two of my favorite topics
I had most of my left cheek removed via MOhs back in 14. Doc told me the same thing about wearing a hat. My wife is on me about it constantly--of course, she also says hats make guys look old, and at my age, I don't want to look any older. So she's mixing her message. After Moh’s surgery removed a nickel-sized circle of skin off of my scalp, my dermatologist and my regular doc said I need to wear a hat whenever I go out (paying for a lifetime in the sun). Now I’m busting out hats I’ve had for years, including this panama I got about 15 years ago.
I have a couple of Panamas, a trilby and half a dozen flat caps I wear to work regularly, but once you wear spectators it magically turns any brimmed hat into retro cosplay. I’m fortunately at an age I don’t care.

First wearing of these - very comfortable and the toe box reminds me of some Hampton - lasted Aldens I have.

Rest of the outfit (sans blue sport coat).

$189 for some models I haven't heard of. Are these outlet only models?

I'm not familiar with the retailer but I guess they're affiliated with Nordstrom rack

Everyone’s glorious shell models are giving these calf Macs an inferiority complex. Maybe it’s the silly laces...]
The new ones look great!Found what I think are the ideal laces to go with the Stirlings, keeping the focus on the Dublin patina without a distracting contrast.

The original laces were too dark, my first substitutes were too light, but goldilaces above are just right.

Love how the dog's nose goes with the shoes.
The shoes today are terrific!

Did anyone pick up a pair of the Ostrich Delrays? wild
Great pairing

Anyway, I have resisted hats because I have a fat head and a full head of hair, so I need a big size (7.58 or 7.34) and they tend to make my noggin look gigantic (as well as older). Any suggestions on a style of panama for a large noggin?
