New pair of 22 ounce "Slubnoxious" Bravestar slim straight selvage jeans with my first pair of Indys.

I need to figure out which of their fits might work for me. Which do you buy?

I missed out on a pair of Levi’s 511 raw selvedge for a nice price while I was contemplating yesterday, and for some reason I have a desire to add one more pair of raw selvedge denim that I can actually cuff. This is in spite of the fact that I don’t have enough shoes for raw denim in my rotation. Anyway a few of the Bravestar denims (17oz in particular) appeal to me but most are sold out in what I would guess to be my size... 31W. But I’m not sure if I should go a size down from there to allow for stretching. Plus the 36” inseam is far too long for me and will require hemming or huge cuffs and/or plentiful stacks. In other words, there is much uncertainty.

Wishing a Happy New Year to all here. Thank you for all the shoe knowledge you’ve shared. I thought some would enjoy seeing this book that was a present from Mrs. Pedlar. It was published the same year Allen Edmonds was founded so I don’t anticipate its history includes much on Port Washington. But I’ve added some AE bookends to keep the post sort of on topic.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but Nordstrom has several new AE styles.

-Clarkston: British style cap-toe. Not highly appealing to me, but not bad.
-Grandview: a longwing on the1943? Pretty nice looking to me.
-Arlington: another cap toe that reminds me of the Fairfax. Not appealing to me, but ok. 108 last?
-Eastgate derby: decent casual shoe, but appears to not be made of cxl.
-Hearst: cap to boot everyone is aware of I think.

And there's the two new Strand colors and the new woven Strand. AE is doing some things well and should get credit.

My next selvedge is from luxire
