Glad to hear it. I'm sure I will eventually get a pair of Delray's. I was hoping they would have a limited release in bourbon. I may just get the brown one. The Delray chili is a bit darker than the Lasalle, so I won't rule out chili.

I think it's exactly the same color chili (i.e., the pre-Bob's Chili chili). A Bourbon Delray would be great.

Don't wait. Buy a pair.

The HM is a fantastic boot, this is the HM with a lugged sole and casual black material, or better yet, beat me to the $159 ?brogue? suede pair of Saukvilles at the Jeffersonville store. (please)

They have been selling out on size 15 quickly, and the sutter mill was not even listed in size 15 at first, bet they did not make many pairs in 15.

Maybe waiting will let you buy it even cheaper, but $199 is a great entry level price on a quite a variety of boots. (I don't have the SM /black boots are covered/ or I would post a pic)

What's the story behind your screen name, bro? It's happened a few times that I've wanted to tag you but couldn't keep the letter combination straight lol.

I never understood why they put the shark on the tongue of that shoe. It would have been better used where it could be seen.

true, if you think about it you don't see the shark at all on that shoe. Pants cover the heel and tongue. It's just for wearer's view. LOL.

What are people's thoughts on the Kirkwood? I could use a very casual, beachy shoe, but I'm not sure how I feel about the penny loafer/boat shoe hybrid.

I like it. "It's two, two, two shoes in one."

I love them - and the Maritimes as well! On sale (<$125) they are a great deal. I own the Kirks in 3 colors and the Maris in 2. The red pair is my around the house shoes. I wear the rest with shorts/denim, and occasionally chino.

So tempted to take advantage of Oakstreet Bootmakers' 20% off sale (the biggest sale the company does) and pick up a pair of chocolate or bourbon calfskin shortening bluchers, but I just can't justify the redundancy in my wardrobe. Already have the tan RL Sanderson, and tan and brown grain CJ Pembrokes, with whisky and brown cordovan CJ Marlows on the way.

I need therapy.

Question for the forum: Thoughts on the olive McT vs the olive (butyl) Shannon Drive?

Order the McT for BF but am now looking at the SD on ebay. About an $80 difference.

I own the McT in the original tan so worry the olive version could be a little repetitive. I figure I'd wear each the same way (primarily denim, occasionally with chinos). I only have one other LWB, so perhaps the SD might be a better option? Anything else to consider?
