^Yes, the new Dunhills are your typical run-of-the-mill designer scent with little to go nuts about. Two other lacklusters numbers were Dunhill Fresh and Dunhill Eccentric... I think they got discontinued because they were just... blagh.
Like most designer scents (obviously NOT 1934, though), I think these were intended to be soft, easy ways of giving a buyer who can't afford Dunhill goods the chance to have something with the Dunhill name at a lower price. Some of these scents (Tom Ford's Gucci Pour Homme or YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme) are wonderful encapsulations of the namesake house. The newer Dunhills, though, really aren't so hot.
