ALDO knockoffs of Common Projects & PSA

Hi all,

I noticed these convincing copies of CP Archilles shoes available from ALDO in black & grey. They're on sale now (65% off) on ALDO's site. They run a little narrow when I tried them on and I had to go up a size to fit my feet width (a bit like real CPs?).

Interesting the site positions them as "back to school in style".

Watch out with Aldo - I haven't found a pair of their shoes that fit right / didn't give me blisters to date.

They're not copying something exclusive to Cp, that silhouette is pretty generic now.

Yes but many other high-end designers have been copying CP. As far as I can tell, CP designed that silhouette.

Hm, really.. It looks pretty similar to the stan smith which adidas has been selling since the 70's, minus the brand stripes and logo at the heel. Besides, Cp intended to create iconic and traditional sneakers with premium materials and craftsmanship- it kind of follows that they'd use an existing iconic sneaker.

um, there's this company called Converse, maybe you've heard of them? A little new on the scene, but I think they may have ripped off the Common Projects silhouette as well, with their All-Star and One-Star models.

LDO ist schiesse. Seriously, their shoes are horrible on a Payless level.

Take that $30 and put it towards a pair of Stan Smiths or so.
