Hey all, visiting north of italy next summer for a few months - Milan, Florence, Tuscany, Rome. Looking to get a soft shoulder style 2 piece DB suit tailored. Budget is around $2500. Most of the time will be in Milan. Can anyone make a recommendation? I looked around on this forum, and it looks like the better known brands are $5k and up for bespoke. Many spoke of "small sartorias with old artisans" but most of the ones linked went to now defunct websites.

You might try Sartoria Celeghin in Legnano. I don't know if that will be soft shoulder style you imagine though.

Found their instagram....their suits looks very baggy - i'm looking for more of a slim/tailored look. I have another intalian suit (m2m) that I had made from Massimo Roma in Miami that has the style I'm looking for. I'll take a photo and post it to show the style I am looking for

I would not rely on their instagram, there are only a few photos.
I don't think these are baggy suits (starting price according PG page was 2000€):

I like hugo's suits a lot - if hes' using Celeghin, I am sold. I thought he was primarily using Cifonelli - I love their look, but I think they are out of Paris.

Check Sartoria Vergallo in Varese and what Simon Crompton, Permanent style, has written about the sartoria.
