Can't say much for the designs, but I love those heavy-duty zipper pulls

I bought a hoody from them when they first came out for around 60 bucks. The detailing is nice, but the hoody is pretty crappy. Mine in particular was super thin.

If you are into graphics like that, you should check out salvage, monarchy or morphine generation.

Also revolve is discounting this line called literature, which is sorta the same style but prob better quality.

Yeah cause hyper distressed hoodies with trendy gothicish screen prints splattered all over them are art.

No need to get all touchy about your ugly-ass, 18-months-behind-the-trend clothing. Just accept the fact that you've failed as a designer and move on.

I think the second one is sweet looking. I like some Affliction designs.
Hoodies have finally become interesting in the last few years after decades of being boring psuedo-pajamas. If someone is going to spend $60+ on a hoodie they might as well get one with some sweet doodads.

BTW, does your company have a contract with Dana White of the UFC, that dude is ALWAYS wearing Affliction Ts?

I think I saw some of these hoodies (or something very similar) at Nordstrom earlier today. I didn't try any on so I can't comment on the fit, but if you have the money and are into that sort of aesthetic, I guess they're okay. I don't really see what separates them from almost identical-looking products widely available at Fred Meyer, Target, JC Penny, et cetera (well, except for the price!).

Kash, maybe it'd be more helpful to view the above posters' opinions as (free, no less) constructive feedback rather than simply dismissing them. After all, these are people who are here out of a genuine and atypically deep interest in style and clothing and they more often than not have a pretty good idea of what they're talking about. Don't ignore them just because they're not saying what you want to hear!

It's all fun and games to come down on brands such as Affliction, Salvage, Monarchy and Drifter. Without these brands that "do" form a stepping stone between the core mainstream giants such as Gap, Express, Banana Republic...anything Mall/High Street related and the the small artesinal/hyper limited brands revered on this forum we instead would be complaining about the monopolization of the clothing market by the giant global retailers.

I think your comment was ugly and beneath you to scold someone who at the end of the day however much you may distaste the thought is bringing something creative to the market place. I would rather see people wearing Salvage and Affliction, which for your information a great amount of thought and detail goes into the execution of these products (also for the most part made in the U.S.A, not China, India or any other 3rd world labor convenience as utilized by such great American Icons as Ralph Lauren, Hilfiger, A&F, Calvin Klein and Kenneth Cole)over most brands you find available on 3rd street Santa Monica or 8th street NYC or most malls for that matter.

Believe me when I say that these brands you distaste at least respect the consumer, I've worked on 6th Ave, I've sat in demographic meeting's were all viewed as suckers!.
