Long time lurker first time poster.

I wanted to keep this out of the main AE threads because I am scared of the users that post in them.

Can someone please help me? I'd like to know what last the Player' Shoe is on.

Thank you in advance, and regards,
Jay Gatsby

Per a post on another forum by AE's Chairman, it is on the Executive last (222). Here is the description from their website.

A long fitting last with a flat tapered toe. Used exclusively for our Executive Collection

The Chairman said the Players Shoe is basically the Lombard with the double oak leather sole instead of the Executive rubber sole.

I bought the shoe in navy, and am very pleased with it. I haven't worn it yet, but I look forward to doing so, soon.

Could you post pictures of the shoes when you have a chance?

As you know, pictures on the AE websites are not the best and I would greatly appreciate seeing the shoe in blue as no one carries them where I live...

Thanks!

Does anyone else have experience with this shoe? I like both the blue and the Dark Chocolate and would appreciate the input of more experienced folks.
