AE Delray / Leeds question

I am considering a pair of Delrays, but have to get them online. I have some Leeds, and they fit great at size 10 (I'm typically 10.5). Does anyone know if the Delray would work similarly? Leeds = Last 1 -- Delray = Last 8. I read the 8 last is pretty wide...comparison?

Also, I am concerned that there is a chance the toe could be raised up off the ground. I tried on some Park Ave. and thought the toes looked like clown shoes with how much they were up there. Anyone know how Delray would compare to Leeds in that regard, as the Leeds don't do that much at all.

Thanks!

Delray is a sleeker and flatter shoe compared to the Leeds. I have a pair now and had a pair of Stockbridge (4 last). Delray is the sleekest of AE's spilt-toe derbies I believe. No toe-lifting that I noticed.
